The sequel contains comedy, adventure and drama elements similar to its predecessor. The movie begins when Galleria enters the group in a Barcelona music festival, and the foursome, Galleria's protective mom Dorothea and Chanel's mother Juanita travel to Spain. Once there, they meet Marisol, a talented solo singer and her manager/mother Lola, who may be plotting the group's breakup. Joaquin, a tango dancer, shows the girls around and falls for Dorinda. Aqua is busy thinking about her aspirations for a career in fashion. Galleria is frightened that the Cheetah Credo will cease to exist. The Cheetahs also break a strict rule of the festival, which puts their hopes of stardom in jeopardy.
